Hi! We're the Wild Florida Family, and we're crazy about wild Florida.
No, not the Girls Gone Wild Florida, and not the wild-over-mouse-ears and roller coasters Florida, not even the wild tiger lady Florida you may know well. We're totally, madly, deeply in love with the real, wild, unmowed, ungroomed, ungated, untamed, and unbelievably unforgettable Florida that most people overlook when they come to this beautiful state.
We're on a mission to explore, in depth, all 175 Florida state parks, checking them off on our bucket list, collecting our passport stamps, and journaling about our experiences as we go. Our hope is to encourage other families to get out and explore the wild side of Florida, so keep an eye out for helpful tips, notes about our favorites, and things to remember when exploring Florida on your own or with your family. We want to share our deep passion for this paradise in which we live, and foster a shared desire for protecting it's valuable resources and wildlife.
